التثبيط التحويلي

آلية تثبيط تقسم فيها الإشارة التنبيهية على مقدار تثبيطي (بدل طرحه). في خلايا S بالنيوكوغنيترون، خلية V التثبيطية تقسم الإشارة على متوسط النشاط المحلي، فتصبح الاستجابة مُعتمدة على تشابه النمط لا على الشدة المطلقة.

An inhibition mechanism where the excitatory signal is divided by (rather than subtracted from) an inhibitory quantity. In the Neocognitron's S-cells, the V-cell divides the signal by local average activity, making the response depend on pattern similarity rather than absolute intensity.
