توزيع احتمالي أكثر تسطّحاً من الغاوسي وأذياله أخف (تفرطح سالب). مثال: التوزيع المنتظم. يتطلب لاخطية مختلفة عن سيغمويد القياسية في خوارزمية Infomax.

A probability distribution flatter than the Gaussian with lighter tails (negative kurtosis). Example: uniform distribution. Requires a different nonlinearity than the standard sigmoid in the Infomax algorithm.
