قناع التفاف 3×3 يُقرّب المشتقة الأولى للصورة في الاتجاهين الأفقي والرأسي. من أوائل أدوات كشف الحواف وأبسطها، لكنه يُنتج حوافاً سميكة وحساسة للضوضاء.

A 3×3 convolution mask that approximates the first derivative of an image in horizontal and vertical directions. One of the earliest and simplest edge detection tools, but produces thick, noise-sensitive edges.
