مفاضلة المعدّل والتشوّه

مبدأ من نظرية المعلومات يصف العلاقة العكسية بين كمّية المعلومات المنقولة (المعدّل) وجودة إعادة بناء البيانات (التشوّه). في beta-VAE يتحكّم β في هذه المفاضلة.

An information-theoretic principle describing the inverse relationship between the amount of information transmitted (rate) and the quality of data reconstruction (distortion). In beta-VAE, β controls this trade-off.
