التشذيب التشاؤمي

أسلوب تشذيب يستخدمه C4.5 حيث تُنمَّى الشجرة كاملة أولاً ثم تُستبدَل الأشجار الفرعية بأوراق إذا لم يزد الخطأ المقدَّر على بيانات جديدة، باستخدام حدود ثقة عُلوية على خطأ التدريب.

A pruning technique used by C4.5 where the tree is fully grown first, then subtrees are replaced with leaves if the estimated error on unseen data would not increase, using upper confidence bounds on training error.
