مجموعة من أزواج الجمل حيث كل جملة في لغة مصحوبة بترجمتها في اللغة الأخرى. مدونة هانسارد الكندية (محاضر البرلمان) كانت أول مدونة متوازية كبيرة استُخدمت في الترجمة الإحصائية.

A collection of sentence pairs where each sentence in one language is paired with its translation in the other. The Canadian Hansard (parliamentary proceedings) was the first large parallel corpus used for statistical MT.
