بوابة في وحدة LSTM تتحكّم في مقدار محتوى خلية الذاكرة الذي يُكشف كحالة مخفيّة مرئية لباقي الشبكة. غائبة في GRU التي تكشف حالتها المخفيّة بالكامل دائماً.

A gate in the LSTM unit that controls how much of the memory cell content is exposed as the hidden state visible to the rest of the network. Absent in GRU, which always exposes its full hidden state.
