القناة المشوَّشة

إطار رياضي من نظرية المعلومات يُعامل الترجمة كعملية فك تشفير: اللغة المصدر تمرّ عبر «قناة مشوَّشة» تُحرِّفها إلى اللغة الهدف، ومهمة المترجم استعادة الأصل باستخدام نموذج لغة ونموذج ترجمة.

An information-theoretic framework that treats translation as decoding: the source language passes through a 'noisy channel' that distorts it into the target language, and the translator's job is to recover the original using a language model and a translation model.
