نواة ماتيرن

عائلة من دوال النواة يتحكم فيها معامل نعومة ν. تسمح بدوال أخشن من نواة الأُسّي التربيعي وتتقارب معها عند ν → ∞. خيار واقعي لكثير من التطبيقات.

A family of kernel functions parameterized by a smoothness parameter ν. Allows rougher functions than the RBF kernel and converges to it as ν → ∞. A realistic choice for many applications.
