استراتيجية لنمو الأشجار تقسم في كل خطوة الورقة التي تُحقِّق أكبر تقليل في دالة الخسارة، بغض النظر عن عمقها. تُنتج أشجاراً غير متناظرة تتقارب أسرع لكنها تحتاج تنظيماً لمنع الإفراط في التخصيص.
