الشمول والاستبعاد

مبدأ مُشتقّ من البديهيات ينصّ على أن P(A∪B) = P(A) + P(B) − P(A∩B). يمنع العدّ المزدوج للنتائج المشتركة بين الحدثين.

A principle derived from the axioms stating that P(A∪B) = P(A) + P(B) − P(A∩B). It prevents double-counting of outcomes shared between two events.
