مبرهنة أساسية في التحليل الدالّي تضمن أنه إذا كان فضاء جزئي مغلق لا يملأ الفضاء الكامل، فيوجد دالّ خطي مقيَّد غير صفري يفصل بينهما. استخدمها سايبينكو في البرهان بالتناقض.

A fundamental theorem in functional analysis guaranteeing that if a closed subspace does not fill the whole space, there exists a nonzero bounded linear functional separating them. Used by Cybenko in the proof by contradiction.
