خوارزمية تقريب تكرارية تبني تقريباً غاوسياً للتوزيع البَعدي بمعالجة كل نقطة بيانات على حدة وتحسين التقريب المحلي عندها. أدق من تقريب لابلاس في كثير من الحالات.

An iterative approximation algorithm that builds a Gaussian approximation to the posterior by processing each data point individually and refining the local approximation. Often more accurate than Laplace.
