مبرهنة ديفيس-كاهان

مبرهنة في نظرية اضطراب المصفوفات تُحدّد حدوداً عليا للزاوية بين الفضاءات الفرعية للمتجهات الذاتية لمصفوفتين متناظرتين متقاربتين. تُستخدم لإثبات أنّ اضطرابات صغيرة في مصفوفة التشابه تُنتج اضطرابات صغيرة في المتجهات الذاتية.

A theorem in matrix perturbation theory that bounds the angle between eigenvector subspaces of two close symmetric matrices. Used to prove that small perturbations in the affinity matrix produce small perturbations in the eigenvectors.
