فترة مستمدة من التوزيع البعدي تحتوي على المعلمة المجهولة باحتمالية محددة (مثل 95%)، وهي النظير البايزي لفترة الثقة.

An interval derived from the posterior distribution that contains the unknown parameter with a specified probability (e.g. 95%), the Bayesian counterpart of a confidence interval.
