عقوبة الإيجاز

عامل يُضرب بدرجة BLEU لمعاقبة الترجمات الأقصر من المرجع. يتناقص أُسِّيّاً كلما قصرت الترجمة المرشحة، فيمنع حصول ترجمة قصيرة ودقيقة على درجة مرتفعة زوراً.

A multiplicative factor applied to BLEU that penalizes candidate translations shorter than the reference. It decays exponentially as the candidate gets shorter, preventing short-but-precise translations from scoring artificially high.
