نقطة تقع ضمن جوار ε لنقطة نواتية لكنها لا تملك ما يكفي من الجيران لتكون نواتية بنفسها، فتُعدّ على حافة العنقود.

A point within the ε-neighborhood of a core point but without enough neighbors to be core itself, sitting on the edge of a cluster.
