خوارزمية كلاسيكية لاستخلاص سمات محلية من الصور ثابتة أمام تغيّرات الحجم والدوران. كانت السمة المهيمنة في الرؤية الحاسوبية قبل أن يحلّ محلها التعلم العميق بعد AlexNet.

A classical algorithm for extracting local image features that are invariant to scale and rotation changes. It was the dominant feature descriptor in computer vision before being superseded by deep learning after AlexNet.
