بوابة في وحدة GRU تتحكّم في نسبة المزج بين الحالة المخفيّة السابقة والمحتوى المرشَّح الجديد. حين تقترب من 1 يُتبنّى المحتوى الجديد كلياً، وحين تقترب من 0 تُنسخ الحالة القديمة دون تغيير. تؤدّي دورَي بوابتَي النسيان والإدخال في LSTM مترابطتَين.
A gate in the GRU unit that controls the interpolation ratio between the previous hidden state and the new candidate content. When close to 1, the new content is fully adopted; when close to 0, the old state is copied unchanged. It plays the tied roles of LSTM's forget and input gates.
