Straight-Through Estimator

حيلة تدريبية تنسخ التدرّج من مخرج عملية غير قابلة للاشتقاق (كالتكميم) مباشرةً إلى مُدخلها، كأن العملية لم تحدث. تُستخدم في VQ-VAE لتمرير تدرّجات إعادة البناء إلى المُرمِّز.

A training trick that copies the gradient from the output of a non-differentiable operation (like quantisation) directly to its input, as if the operation never happened. Used in VQ-VAE to pass reconstruction gradients to the encoder.
