Soft Thresholding

عامل يطبّق على المعاملات فيُلغي ما كانت قيمته المطلقة أقل من العتبة λ ويُقلّص البقية بمقدار ثابت λ. هو الحل المغلق لمسألة Lasso في الحالة المتعامدة.

An operator that sets coefficients with absolute value below the threshold λ to exactly zero and shrinks the rest by the fixed amount λ. It is the closed-form Lasso solution in the orthonormal case.
