Regret

مقياس من نظرية التعلّم عبر الإنترنت يحسب الفرق التراكمي بين خسارة الخوارزمية وخسارة أفضل قرار ثابت كان يمكن اتخاذه بأثرٍ رجعي. كلما كان الندم أقل كان أداء الخوارزمية أقرب للمثالي.

A measure from online learning theory that computes the cumulative difference between the algorithm's loss and the loss of the best fixed decision that could have been made in hindsight. Lower regret means the algorithm performs closer to optimal.
