Product Quantization

أسلوب ضغط يقسم المتّجه إلى متّجهات فرعية ويستبدل كلّاً منها بفهرس أقرب مركز عنقودي من دليل رموز صغير، مما يختزل المتّجه إلى بضعة بايتات مع الحفاظ على إمكان تقدير المسافات.

A compression method that splits a vector into sub-vectors and replaces each with the index of its nearest centroid from a small codebook, reducing the vector to a few bytes while preserving distance estimation capability.
