تذبذب

الحركة المتكرّرة ذهاباً وإياباً حول مسار مثالي أو نقطة مثلى. في الأمثَلة، يحدث التذبذب حين يتجاوز المُحسِّن الهدف في اتجاه عالي الانحناء فيرتدّ عكسياً في الخطوة التالية.

Repeated back-and-forth movement around an optimal path or point. In optimization, oscillation occurs when the optimizer overshoots in a high-curvature direction and bounces back on the next step.
