Monotone Function

دالة لا تتناقص (أو لا تتزايد) أبدًا: إذا كان x₁ < x₂ فإن M(x₁) ≤ M(x₂). هذا الشرط يضمن أن إشارة الخطأ تشير في الاتجاه الصحيح نحو الجَذر.

A function that never decreases (or never increases): if x₁ < x₂ then M(x₁) ≤ M(x₂). This condition ensures the error signal points in the correct direction toward the root.
