خاصية رياضية تضمن ألا يتغير المتّجه التدريجي بسرعة تفوق ثابتاً معيّناً L. تعني أن الدالة «ملساء» بما يكفي لتطبيق خطوات تدريجية بحجم يُمكن حسابه نظرياً.

A mathematical property ensuring the gradient does not change faster than a constant L. Means the function is 'smooth' enough for gradient steps of theoretically computable size.
