دالة ثنائية أو حقيقية القيمة في نموذج CRF تلتقط نمطاً معيناً يعتمد على الوسم الحالي والوسم السابق وتسلسل المشاهدات. كل دالة لها وزن مُتعلَّم يحدد مدى تأثيرها في درجة التسلسل.

A binary or real-valued function in a CRF that captures a specific pattern depending on the current label, previous label, and observation sequence. Each function has a learned weight determining its contribution to the sequence score.
