اختبار وحدة كان يفشل قبل تطبيق الإصلاح ثم ينجح بعده، ويُستخدم كإشارة أساسية للتحقق من أن الحلّ يعالج المشكلة المطروحة.

A unit test that fails before the fix is applied and passes after, used as the primary signal to verify that a solution addresses the stated problem.
