Discrete Variational Autoencoder (dVAE)

نوع من المُشفِّرات المتغيّرية يستخدم فضاءً كامناً منفصلاً بدلاً من متّصل، حيث تُقابَل كل منطقة في المدخل بمدخل من دفتر شفرات محدود الحجم. يُستخدم في DALL·E لضغط الصور إلى رموز منفصلة تستهلكها نماذج اللغة.

A variant of the variational autoencoder that uses a discrete latent space instead of a continuous one, mapping each input region to an entry from a finite codebook. Used in DALL·E to compress images into discrete tokens consumable by language models.
