Collapsed Gibbs Sampling

نوع خاص من اعتيان غيبس يُدمج (ينهار) بعض المتغيّرات تحليلياً بدلاً من اعتيانها، فيقلّل فضاء الاعتيان ويُسرّع التقارب. في LDA يُنهار مزيج المواضيع والتوزيعات المفرداتية ويُعتيَّن تعيينات المواضيع فقط.

A variant of Gibbs sampling that analytically integrates out (collapses) some variables instead of sampling them, reducing the sampling space and speeding convergence. In LDA, the topic mixtures and word distributions are collapsed, sampling only topic assignments.
