استراتيجية تقنيع تُخفي كتلاً مستطيلة متجاورة من رقع الصورة بدلاً من رقع فردية متناثرة عشوائياً، مما يمنع النموذج من الاستيفاء المحلي البسيط ويُجبره على تعلّم العلاقات المكانية بعيدة المدى.

A masking strategy that hides contiguous rectangular blocks of image patches rather than randomly scattered individual patches, preventing trivial local interpolation and forcing the model to learn long-range spatial relationships.
