آلية يُقرّر فيها النموذج اللغوي بنفسه ما إذا كان يحتاج إلى استرجاع مستندات خارجية عند كل خطوة من خطوات التوليد، بدلاً من الاسترجاع الدائم بغض النظر عن الحاجة.
